AUD POLICIES AND PROCEDURES
Adult & Youth Classes / Tuition & Registration
Registration fees are paid once annually. This fee helps to offset the cost related to costumes and props. Registration is not confirmed until the first month’s tuition and registration fees are paid in full.
If you prefer not to register online or have trouble with online registration, please call AUD to schedule a time to complete your registration at the AUD studio.
Scholarships
Limited scholarships are available. If interested, please request and complete a scholarship application.
Refunds/Cancellation
If you cancel less than 10 days before your first class, all fees paid minus a $25 cancellation fee will be refunded.
If you cancel more than 10 days before class begins, no refund or credit will be issued.
AUD reserves the right to cancel classes that have not met enrollment minimums before the first class. Should this occur, full refunds will be issued for the canceled class.
Classes, faculty, and schedules are subject to change.
Orientation class
Parents / guardians of prospective students are required to attend the orientation class for their child’s assigned group. If a parent has multiple children enrolled in classes, please consult with the Director to determine which orientation class you should attend.
Authorization/Release
Each student must have a completed Registration Packet on file each time they enroll. You may mail your completed packet with your Registration or bring it to the orientation class.
Class Supervision & Safety
Class Sizes
Class sizes are limited to keep the classes safe, enjoyable and comfortable for all students. Please register early to ensure a spot, as registrations are held on a first paid basis.
Class Supervision
AUD Instructor supervision begins no earlier than 5 minutes before class start time and ends no more than 15 minutes after class end time. A fee will be assessed if parents do not adhere to this policy. More importantly—it is a safety issue for children.
Drop Off /Pick Up
For the safety of all children, parents / guardians are asked to come inside the building to drop off or pick up students. All other arrangements must be requested in writing, on AUD student forms, and approved by AUD staff.
Medical Policy
If we are unable to contact a parent, or if time does not permit, we will use the 911 service. Expenses incurred will be paid by the parent or legal guardian. See the AUD Medical policy.
